The Zoll AED Plus does more than just reverse the heart's rhythm.

The Zoll AED Plus is a fully automatic defibrillator that not only delivers a shock when needed, but also guides you step by step through effective first aid.  The electrodes have a built-in sensor that monitors the effectiveness of the CPR and provides audio guidance throughout the CPR. A metronome ensures the correct rhythm for the compressions, and clear audio guidance provides feedback on possible ineffectiveness of the compressions and provides positive feedback on the use of correct technique – this is important in stressful situations.

In addition to voice prompts, the Zoll Plus AED features clear icons and LED lights on the inside of the device to guide you through every step of the CPR process. These features make the Zoll Plus AED an excellent choice for beginners and laypeople.

This defibrillator is housed in a durable, high-quality case, providing excellent protection against dirt and moisture. Both the electrodes and batteries last 5 years, so you only need to keep track of one expiration date.

The device comes with a seven (7) year manufacturer's warranty (5 years automatically and an additional 2 years by registering the AED on the Zoll website) ensuring that you only need to replace the batteries and electrodes once during the device's lifetime, provided the AED has not been used. This makes the Zoll Plus AED extremely easy to maintain.

Unlike semi-automatic models, the fully automatic model does not have a shock button. The pacemaker monitors the patient's heart rhythm and delivers an electric shock when necessary.
